Clementine is the paper pack for February Creative Classes.  It is the last of the fall catalog paper and then we are on to the next round of paper found in the new catalog.  I am excited because I got to design our pages for the beautiful Chantilly paper kit for our team.  Anyway, I have had a creative rush of pinks and yellow and blue.  Next I started working on the Later Sk8ter pack which provided another batch of color to start swimming in my head.  Love that feeling of having something come together creatively.  It is very helpful that CTMH comes out with a great pallet of paper and accessories for us to start with.

Anyway, back to Clementine.  If you got my newsletter (out on February 1) you saw one of the layouts.  Now look at the photo here and see if you can see a difference...besides the fact that Jen took the photo of this one and she is an incredible photographer with a great camera....

So yeah...you can totally switch the pages around if you want to.  It also looks pretty cool with the first page rotated so the flowers are on the top left hand corner.  Lots of options.  Just another beauty of CTMH layouts, which is a pretty fun function to play with on the Studio J scrapbooking site.  Have you tried Studio J yet????  You need to if not, and February the cost is only $5 per layout. (Less than Costco and anywhere else.) I will be doing a bunch of Studio J layouts this month.  Simply log in to my web page at marybeth.ctmh.com.  Just do it!  I think it is SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!  Here is a copy of my Christmas Card I did using Studio J.  I designed it in about 1 hour, bought the j.peg for only $2.95 and took a copy on a thumb drive to our local grocery store photo center and the gal behind the counter put it onto an 8x4 card in about 4 minutes.  Sweet!

It does seem a little weird not to be making a bunch of valentines this February.  I used to make up to 100 for all my kids classmates and now they don't need any.  What?  I will still make some for the students in the classroom that I work in and that will be fun.  But it is a change in my life.  Speaking of Valentines, the 2nd Thursday of the month when I usually do class is the 14th...and there are a lot of other options for people that day, so the schedule for the Clementine Classes for February are a bit different than usual.****

*****Thursday February 7th at 12:30 or again in the evening at 6-ish ****
Tuesday, February 12th at 6-ish (earlier or later is fine...everyone is together in the middle)
Saturday, February 9th or 23rd are both available if you want a Saturday morning slot...just let me know.

Cost is $19.50 for these pages and cards  (I will be hiking prices all the way up to $20 from here on out... tired of always needing change and don't worry, you will get some extra sparkles, or paper or something for the extra .50)

Cost for the card workshop is only $10.  The design is very similar to the ones in the picture...but we will be using the cottage flowers accessories instead.  They are just so cute.  You will make 2 of each design for a total of 8 cards.   Oh and one of my customers slipped and told me that at Archiver's their classes are $25.  But don't worry, I am not changing my prices for these classes.  $10 is a nice even number and I am sticking to it...for now.

Remember that if you want to do my projects but don't live nearby.  I am happy to ship thing to you so you can do it on your own.  Not as much fun and a bit more $ for shipping, but you do get some great pages done.

I had a lot of fun creating Christmas presents using the Display Tray (Z1750 $19.95) for my husbands parents.  I used the Florentine paper which is only available another month.  I didn't get a picture of the other one and they aren't exactly the same, but I thought they turned out pretty nice.
January Creative Classes are coming up soon.  I am excited to offer two kits this month.  Both the beautiful La Belle Vie (pink and bamboo and black) and Avonlea (Teal and chocolate) scrapbook page kits will be available to order.  The cost for the Avonlea (including tax and shipping) comes to $19.50 and the cost for the La Belle Vie comes to $20.00.  Both come together beautifully and easily and sign up for either is now.  Some people are doing both layouts.  I can also ship them to you.
There are a few dates for you to choose to come participate in the Orem class:
Tuesday, January 8th (start anytime between 5:30-7)
Thursday, January 10th 12:30 and again at 7:00
Saturday, January 12 10:00
For those of you that don't scrapbook and want to do only cards.  We will be doing cards using the Avonlea paper.  This is my favorite paper pack in the current catalog and the combination of papers is beautiful.  The cards will have a winter theme with a few snowmen and snowflakes.  Cost for 8 cards will be close to $10.

Also, if you missed out on the wedding cards using the La Belle Vie paper and would rather make those cards, I have a few kits left.  The cards are so beautiful.  You could use a different message to make them for birthday or other occasions besides wedding.  Scroll down to see the pictures of these cards.

HAPPY
Studio J scrapbooking makes me happy.  I have been pushing to get pages done to finish my membership this month.  Now no membership is required.  Sweet!!!!  I just submitted 18 layouts.  So, of course that is a reason to be happy.  Now, you can do 4+ layouts at a time any time.  But as you may guess by some of my photos of cards, etc, I don't have the greatest camera...don't have a light box to get the settings just right, etc.  However, at some of the events we are involved in...other people take great high quality photos and share them on facebook.  (HS football, School dances, HC pageant)  I can download those photos, save them, upload them into Studio J. and do my layouts.  If the photos are web-quality, I wouldn't recommend it because they won't be well, high quality.  Using great pictures is another thing that makes me happy!  So here is one of the layouts that was quick to make...

I will be putting EZ-invite orders on my online business site and when you want to order your layouts, join the group order.  It helps us out on free hostess rewards and if you do enough to push it to the next hostess level, I will contact you so you can get some free items too.  Would you like to do a group class to learn to use Studio J????  Let me know...I would be happy to help you learn.
